My Night at the Theatre – Broadway by the Year

Hello, everyone!  Being a huge fan of the theatre, I always make it my business to take in as many shows as I can.  Last Monday was no exception to my rule, as I enjoyed a performance of the exciting series, Broadway by the Year - 1987, at the Town Hall in Midtown.  Helmed by theatre impresario, Scott Siegel, it shined a spotlight on the tunes that were included in the stage shows that had opened that year.

Watching such gifted performers sing their hearts out of the music from such classic musicals as Les Misérables and Into the Woods was a wonderful way to spend an evening.  What’s more; the talented Mark Kudisch directed the show while treating us to his golden voice.  Completing the amazing chorus were some of my favorite performers, those of whom included Kerry O’Malley, Jeffrey Denman, Santino Fontane, and Ron Bohmer.

With top-notch talent and classic songs, Broadway by the Year produces a series of shows that wonderfully captures the Great White Way through every year.  A series of one-night stands that promises a great time for all, I highly recommend that you take in a wonderful performance at the Town Hall
