Hello, everyone! One of the great things about the summer season is discovering some of the best movies of the year. Seth McFarlane’s Ted is the latest example of that, as it was a fantastic delight that I enjoyed immensely.
This hilarious directorial debut from Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane – who also voices the title character, it tells the story of a man (Mark Wahlberg) whose relationship with his long-term girlfriend (Mila Kunis) is jeopardized by the teddy bear that he had wished to life as a child. As incredible as it sounded on paper, it turned out to be a filthy, yet clever, film about finally growing up and letting go of childhood.
If a witty and funny romp is what you’re looking for in a summer movie, Ted has all the ingredients for plenty of laughs.
